Bayreuth Peace Talks
"Bayreuther Friedensgespräche" / "Bayreuth Peace Talks"
In this event series, scholars from the University of Bayreuth and external guests from academia, politics, and society will shed light on the causes and context of political conflicts. The lectures and subsequent discussions will address key questions of peace and conflict research and public debates:
- How did these conflicts arise and what are the motives of the actors involved?
- Under what circumstances does conflict escalate into violence?
- And which peace efforts are promising?
The events will be held alternately in German and English and at the university campus and in the city of Bayreuth.
