Bayreuth PeaceTalks

In the Bayreuth PeaceTalks, scholars from our university and guests from academia, politics, and society shed light on the causes and context of political conflicts. The lectures, roundtables, and discussions address key questions of peace and conflict research and public debates:

  • How did these conflicts arise and what are the motives of the actors involved?
  • Under what circumstances does conflict escalate into violence?
  • And which peace efforts are promising?

The events are held alternately in German and English and at the university campus and in the city of Bayreuth.
